Card Player Poker Tour: Chance Kornuth Wins Allure of the Seas Main Event

With the sparking waters of the Western Caribbean as a backdrop, professional poker player Chance Kornuth became the latest winner of a Card Player Poker Tour main event. Kornuth walked away with $18,000 for winning the $1,100 no-limit hold’em main event on Card Player Cruises Allure of the Seas Sept. 10. Kornuth, a World Series of Poker bracelet winner, now has more than $1.77 million in live tournament winnings. Kornuth was joined at the final table by CPPT familiar faces Chris Schonbach and Pablo Ortiz. With his fifth cash of Season II, Ortiz, a regular at bestbet Jacksonville, now sits in a five-way tie for the most cashes with Moses Clepper, Trenth Smith, Chan Pelton and Wistar Holt.
