This April, the Card Player Poker Tour will return to bestbet Jacksonville for the sixth consecutive year. The action officially runs April 20-30.

While bestbet Jacksonville has super satellites into the main event beginning April 4, the official series kicks off with a $360 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em tournament. Other tournaments on the 12-event schedule include bounty, monster stack, six-max, all-in or fold, big O, and turbo events.

The $1,100 buy-in main event starts April 27, and boasts a $200,000 guarantee. The final table will be streamed on Card Player in conjunction with bestbetLIVE.

Players can win their way into the main event for just $260 with any of the numerous super and mega satellites running in April. Additionally, players can also win tournament seats for all 12 events with package satellites running April 16-22. Single table satellites run daily.

Opening its doors in 1934 under the banner of Jacksonville Greyhound Racing, bestbet currently operates two of the state’s most successful poker rooms at its Orange Park and Jacksonville locations under the direction of Director of Poker Operations Jesse Hollander and Vice President of Poker Operations Deborah Giardina.

Tournament Director Johnny Pham’s daily tournament schedule at bestbet is one of the most consistent draws in the state, featuring a variety of no-limit hold’em and Omaha tournaments.

The property is also known for second-to-none cash games that make the pulse of the room pound on a daily basis. The most popular of these are the $2-$5 no-limit hold’em and $2-$2 no-limit hold’em, which are always running and available from 10 a.m. until close (and 24 hours on weekends). Other games spread include Omaha eight-or-better, pot-limit Omaha, Big O, stud eight-or-better, stud and limit hold’em. Also offered are Three Card Poker, Two Card Poker, One Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Pai Gow Poker.
