A new name will soon be added to the list of Card Player Poker Tour champions hailing from Choctaw Resort Casino in Durant, Oklahoma. The tour will return to the famous Oklahoma casino Apr. 2-12 for the fourth time since the inaugural stop, which saw Maxx Dansky win more than $153,000 in 2012. Other winners of the CPPT Choctaw include Mohammad Arani ($220,626) and Austin Lewis ($183,028). Hosting some of the most successful tournaments in the region, Choctaw Resort Casino, is home to not only the CPPT, but World Series of Poker Circuit stops and will host its first World Poker Tour stop during the summer of 2015. With three stops already in the history books, CPPT Choctaw has awarded more than $2.7 million in main event prize money, hosted 122 individual tournaments not including satellites, and paid out more than $556,600 to main event winners.
