Dan Wagner has won the 2016 Card Player Poker Tour Seneca Fall Poker Classic $1,000 no-limit hold’em main event. The West Seneca, NY based poker pro topped a field of 300 entries to win the $64,882 and become the latest CPPT champion. In addition to the title and the money Wagner also scored 480 Card Player Player of the Year points, enough to move just outside of the top 200 in the standings. This was his third POY-qualified final table of the year, bringing his earnings to $157,629 so far on the year. Wagner entered the final table as the chip leader with roughly 30 percent of the chips in play and he was able to utilize his chip advantage to convert that lead into a win.
