Poker on TV – There is so much poker on television lately that it is hard to keep track of it all. Therefore, in order to help all die-hards to do so, CardPlayer.com has added another new feature. Now you can go to CardPlayer.com to find out what poker programs are on TV. Besides the numerous tournaments, we also try to scour various sources to ferret out even mysteries and sitcoms that have a poker theme.
The page is updated every Monday.
Here is what it looks like:
World Poker Tour to Add Money – Times are a changing, and it is great for the players. The World Poker Tour has announced that for this season, it is adding $25,000 to all of its land-based casino tournaments and awarding 1,000 shares of Lakes Gaming Inc. (Nasdaq "LACO") stock to the winners. This is just a start. The WPT envisions adding larger sums yearly.
Radio Interview – I was honored recently to be interviewed on All Things Considered, the award-winning program on National Public Radio. There is a link to it on the CardPlayer.com home page.
