has launched online satellite tournaments for the highly anticipated WSOP Circuit Montreal, taking place Aug. 18 to Sept. 2 at Playground Poker, just outside downtown Montreal.
Canadian players can now win their way into the WSOP Circuit Montreal main event for free, with multiple freeroll tournaments already underway at GGPoker. Ontario-based players will also be able to join the action, with regional satellites launching shortly.
This event is part of the globally renowned WSOP Circuit tour, which awarded over $225 million in prizes during the 2024/2025 season. The crown jewel of the Montreal stop is the $2,500 main event, featuring $2.2 million in guaranteed prizes. The tournament will play out over three day 1 flights—Aug. 28 (1A), Aug. 29 (1B), and Aug. 30 (1C)—before concluding on Sept. 1.
