Eight-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Nick Schulman is hosting a new poker show coming to SiriusXM satellite radio.

The company announced on Thursday that Poker Weekly with Nick Schulman will debut on July 18 at 8 p.m. ET and air exclusively on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio channel.

The six-episode weekly series will feature poker tips for players of different skill levels, inside stories from Schulman’s 20-plus years as a pro, and insights into the major poker events happening around the world.

“I’m honored to be on SiriusXM talking about poker, a game that means so much to me and so many of us,” Schulman said. “Having a platform like this helps legitimize poker being a game of skill, and it means a lot to me to be a part of that.”

Deep History In Poker

Schulman has a deep record in the game with $27.1 million in live tournament winnings. He entered the world of professional poker at age 19 and became the youngest player to ever win a World Poker Tour event two years later at the 2005 World Poker Finals, scoring $2.2 million.

Beyond simply playing the game, the 41-year-old poker pro has been a popular commentator over the last few years. He manned the microphone for several PokerGO programs. Schulman was one of the voices of High Stakes Poker and High Stakes Duel as well as WSOP broadcasts and more.

Originally from New York, Schulman secured his eighth WSOP bracelet this summer after winning the $1,500 HORSE event for $183,366. He has won five bracelets since 2023 and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame last year.

The poker world has seen several other radio shows and podcasts featuring the game through the years. Card Player’s Poker Stories featured Schulman on the show in 2017.

Earlier this year, the WSOP announced a new deal with ESPN. The agreement brings the world’s largest poker festival back to the network.

It includes live converge of the $10,000 main event final table, which kicks off on Aug. 3. The final table seems to be a likely topic of Schulman’s new show.
