Just to make sure everyone gets a shot at taking part in one of the most prestigious events of the year, PaddyPowerPoker.com has announced its Irish Open Last Chance Saloon.
This series of four $300 + $20 ticket-only satellites will run from Apr. 5-8 at 8:30 p.m. (BST), and for every $4,650 in the prize pool, there will be one Irish Open main event ticket up for grabs.
Winners of the Last Chance Saloon tournaments also qualify for PaddyPowerPoker’s Sole Survivor competition, which will see a €100,000 package on offer to the site’s online qualifier who lasts the longest in the Irish Open. A tough feat by any means with such a pro and champion-ridden field expected.
“The Irish Open Last Chance Saloon was so well-received in 2008 that we didn’t hesitate to schedule it again this year” said Eric Booth, Head of Poker for PaddyPowerPoker.com. “The Last Chance Saloon will be players’ final opportunity to qualify online for the poker event of the season and hopefully we’ll have a few dozen more players to challenge for the €100,000 Sole Survivor crown!”
