Reigning Irish Open champion Neil Channing has launched BlackBeltPoker.com an online staking proposition which will see 50 invited players participate in a grading process with one progressing to black belt level and becoming the ambassador for the site.
As part of the grading players start at green belt and after a minimum six hours daily play over five days at a weekly workshops will be re-graded according to their standard.
Players then proceed through blue belt, which awards backing for UK tournaments, brown belt, which sees players earn a $20,000 World Series of Poker package and backing for major events across Europe.
One player will achieve black belt status and become the face of the site.
The site launches on April 27 and players such as recent Grosvenor UK Poker Tour winner Sunny Chattha, Sam Trickett, and Jerome Bradpiece have all expressed interest in participating in the grading process.
