Software house Canywriter yesterday released version 2.4 of Poker Ghost for Mac operating systems which the company 
claims is the world’s first hand strength voice recognition software for Texas hold’em.
The software allows players to speak the number and suit of their cards, then say "calculate" and the programme automatically calculates the strength of the hand based on the number of players remaining in the hand. The analysis is presented as a the percentage chance the player’s hand is ahead at that point.
The software costs $14.95 but players can download a free trial with the first 25 odds for free.
