L.A. Poker Classic Rebuy Event Attracts 811 Entrants

Event No. 4 at the L.A. Poker Classic, which was a $300 no-limit hold’em rebuy tournament, had a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000, but the 811 entrants, 1,107 rebuys, and 445 add-ons well surpassed that amount. The prize pool came out to nearly $688,000 with Bud Lavassani from Burbank, California, taking the lion’s share of it. He took home more than $158,000 and a trophy for first place.
