In this new "Strip Poker" series, Card Player covers the Las Vegas poker scene – on The Strip and around the city.

The player who makes the highest hand using both holecards will receive a seat. Since there has been so much response to the promotion, the cash games have been filled, and on most days, the high hand is a royal flush. So far, $120,000 worth of seats have been given away.
The day after the high hand promotion ends, registration for the Caesars Palace Classic begins. The first preliminary event starts on Oct. 12 at noon PT and is a $550 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament. For a complete schedule for the tournament series, click here.
