ACR Poker has wrapped up its $50 million guaranteed OSS XL, the supersized edition of its flagship Online Super Series, which ran from March 1 to 23, with the series finishing ahead of its posted guarantee.
Players battled for $51,498,835 in prize pools across OSS XL events. When including daily tournaments running alongside the series, total prize pools across the platform climbed to $60,689,897.
The schedule delivered action across all buy-in levels, with several headline events pushing beyond their guarantees.
Phil’s Thrill XXL set the tone early. The $10,300 buy-in event featured a $1.5 million guarantee, the largest ever for the tournament. A total of 206 entries were made, building a $2,060,000 prize pool. ‘ErculePokero’ came out on top, earning $496,027.
Online poker legend Chris Moorman took second for $112,000. He then followed that up by winning the Mini Phil’s Thrill event for another $62,000.
Main Events
The Main Events produced some of the biggest moments of the series. The $2 million guaranteed Main Event with a $2,500 + $150 buy-in attracted 994 entries, resulting in a $2,485,000 prize pool. ‘Rushgold’ took down the event for $480,795.
“It feels very surreal and I can’t believe that it actually happened. I felt relief from a long grind the last three days,” said champion Alex ‘Rushgold’ Wasierski. “I’ll play the Venom and see what happens there.”
Another $2 million guaranteed Main Event, this one with a $1,000 + $50 buy-in, drew 2,298 entries and paid out $2,298,000. ‘DificilHein’ secured the win and $304,207.
The $1 million guaranteed Main Event with a $200 + $15 buy-in generated the largest field of the three, with 5,321 entries. The prize pool reached $1,064,200, and ‘Jumpintheknife’ captured the title for $128,731.
More Series Action
A $1.5 million guaranteed multi-flight event with a $600 + $30 buy-in also turned in a strong showing. The tournament drew 2,727 entries and paid out $1,636,200, with ‘Makiparty’ earning $260,014 for the win.
ACR Poker also added extra incentives through an OSS XL leaderboard contest spanning Low, Mid, and High stakes tiers. ‘Sandymar’ topped the Low leaderboard for $4,000, Jboyyy88’ led the Mid Leaderboard for $7,500, and ‘Apestyles’ finished first in the High leaderboard, collecting an additional $15,000.
Adding to the excitement, ACR Pro Jon Pardy’s two-week OSS XL grind gave players a unique sweat throughout the series. His journey captured both the highs and challenges of competing at this level, culminating in a dramatic triumph in his final event, where he took first place for $12,279.
“This whole streamathon will be something I remember forever. It was mentally draining every single day, however the joy of winning the last tournament I was left in and for it to be an OSS event feels like it was written in the stars. I want to thank ACR, I want to thank ‘GhostOfM’ and I want to thank the chat who turned up every day in their hundreds to rail me and send me positive vibes,” said Pardy.
ACR Poker will look to carry that momentum into April, when the site is set to host Dual Venom Mystery Bounty tournaments featuring an $8 million guaranteed NLH and a $2 million guaranteed PLO, along with its 420-friendly High Five tournament series.
