The latest edition of ACR Poker’s $8 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Venom no-limit hold’em tournament is already shaping up to be the biggest yet, following a record-setting opening flight on day 1A.
The starting flight saw 912 entries, marking the strongest opening-day turnout for the flagship Mystery Bounty Venom in years and setting an early tone for what could become the largest no-limit hold’em edition to date.
By comparison, the August 2024 edition saw 847 entries on day 1A before closing with an $8,085,000 prize pool. The January 2025 Venom recorded 842 day 1A entries and ultimately generated a final prize pool of $8,797,500, while the August 2025 Venom opened with 740 entries and finished at $8,480,000.
With this Mystery Bounty Venom NLH already surpassing all three of those opening benchmarks, the tournament appears well positioned as additional day 1 flights get underway.
Two Events, $10 Million Guaranteed
The $8 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Venom NLH is running alongside the $2 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha Venom. The PLO event stands as the largest Omaha tournament ever offered on the site.
Once day 2 begins, both tournaments award mystery bounties on every knockout, with payouts starting at $5,000. The top mystery bounty prizes will reach $500,000 in the NLH and $200,000 in the PLO.
Both tourneys still have two remaining day 1 flights, including day 1D on Thursday, Jan. 29, and day 1E on Sunday, Feb. 1. All flights begin at 12:05 pm ET.
As in previous Venom editions, players are permitted multiple entries and may bag and combine stacks for day 2, with all surviving players guaranteed to be in the money once the tournament resumes.
Venom Vault
In addition to traditional buy-ins and satellite paths, ACR Poker has also launched the Venom Vault, now live within the ‘My Account’ section of the poker client. Venom Vault gives players another opportunity to win a seat into the Mystery Bounty Venoms for free.
