Tom Dwan Behind $755K in Durrrr Challenge

Dwan and Cates Play About 350 Hands in Tuesday Session

Tom DwanTom “durrrr” Dwan and Dan “jungleman12” Cates resumed the Durrrr Challenge on Tuesday morning after about a week-long break.

The two nosebleed regulars sat down at the virtual on Full Tilt Poker for some action at $200-$400 no-limit hold’em.

The exchange was brief, as the duo only logged about 350 hands in less than an hour. However, Cates managed to increase his lead by more than $100,000 and currently sits out in front $755,000 after slightly more than 10,000 hands.

Other winners of the past week include Gus Hansen, who won more than $200,000 this past weekend, David Benefield, who is recovering from a recent downswing, and Ben “Sauce1234” Sulsky who took Scott “UrNotINdanger2” Palmer for about $250,000 a couple days ago.

One of the biggest stories in the online world over the past seven days has been the creation of the new $3,000-$6,000 limit hold’em table, per the request of fixed-limit specialist IHateJuice.
