Before we talk brass tax, here are the basics of QQPoker’s welcome bonus:

The QQPK welcome bonus is described as a rebate up to $888, but it’s not what you’d expect. Despite the name, it’s a standard first deposit match. If you deposit $200, you get $200 in bonus credit.

That credit is locked in a vault and released incrementally, which is probably why QQPK’s promo team calls it a rebate. As per the QQPoker welcome bonus terms, $1 of your bonus is released for every five Rebate Points earned.

We spoke to the customer support team, and the agent (Odin) gave us slightly different details from those on the website. While on the site, the terms state that you can only unlock the rebate by playing Hold’em, but Odin told us that all poker games are valid.

After a lot of probing, it seems Rebate Points are based on your activity and VIP status. Here’s what Odin had to say:

This makes it hard to say how quickly you accumulate them. Based on our experience, we released a $100 deposit bonus after generating approximately $750 in rake, which equates to a 7.5:1 release rate (13% effective rakeback).

These are features you can use while playing cash games and MTTs, such as extra time banks, interactive items (throwable objects), rabbit cards, and the ability to save more hand histories. The better your VIP status, the more of each reward you receive.

It’s a fun concept, but hand histories shouldn’t be part of the mix. Basing the number of hands you can save on your VIP status isn’t fair to recreational players.

There’s an argument that it levels the playing field because there’s less information to analyze. But it also goes the other way in that it’s harder for you to analyze your own game and fix leaks.

Reload Bonuses

The final QQPK bonuses you get are reload offers based on your VIP status. There are weekly and monthly reload bonuses at each level. They start at $100/$200 and go up to $15,000/$30,000.

QQPoker Poker Games

There’s a fairly even split between cash games and tournaments at QQPK. Here’s what we found:

Tournaments

We didn’t expect to see so many tournaments during our QQPK review in 2026. There are four daily freerolls, including events reserved for newbies. Real-money MTTs start at $0.11 and go up to $315, including special events and satellite tournaments leading to Triton tournaments.

There’s even a small selection of seven Pot Limit Omaha tournaments. Buy-ins start at $2.20 and guarantees top out at $500. It’s not the most impressive line-up of PLO tournaments we’ve ever seen, but something is better than nothing. Particularly when top-rated poker sites like BetOnline don’t have PLO tournaments.

One feature that caught our eye was Mystery Bonus MTTs. Further information wasn’t available at the time of publishing this QQPoker app review. But based on our experience, we can confidently say that these MTTs will pay bonuses for winning random pots/eliminating players.

Finally, we can’t ignore that QQPoker’s rake is lower than the industry average of 10%. Like CoinPoker and ACR, fees drop as you move up in stakes. It’s great to see a new poker site using a model similar to the industry leaders’.

Cash Games

Most of the Hold’em cash games we played while preparing this QQPK Poker review were running at $200 NL and below. There was almost no PLO action, which is a shame, because the Hold’em games were incredibly soft. The same goes for 6+ Hold’em.

The vast majority of QQPoker’s players are beginners and novices. That’s why the Hold’em games are so good. If there’s a comparable amount of PLO action, there’d be almost no reason to leave because the games would almost certainly be fish-fests.

The three NLH Zoom games (10 NL, 25 NL, and 50 NL) also attract decent traffic. Most of the 10 NL games we observed had at least 120 active players. There’s also a bit of AOF action, but only at the lowest stakes.

Overall, QQPK is best suited to low and mid-stakes grinders. The games are some of the softest we’ve seen, mainly because the player pool is predominantly Asian players who are new to poker. Rake is also below industry standard, which means games are cheaper than CoinPoker and ACR.

QQPoker Series & Tournaments

While QQPK doesn’t yet offer the best online poker tournaments in terms of prize pools, it’s still not short on guarantees.

Confusingly, QQPoker mixes Chinese Yen with US Dollar guarantees for some MTTs. But after some quick conversions, we discovered that the Zodiac Series had buy-ins ranging from $8 to $291. Guarantees for that series went as high as $143,500 for the Zodiac Snake Multi-Flight Main Event. Multiple currencies is also always a good sign for international player pools, including the option to play online poker in Canada and other countries, which in turn means bigger guarantees.

That’s not bad for an online MTT that costs $31 to enter. The same goes for the $16.20 Daily Deepstack with its $4,500 guarantee and the $168 Challenge ($10,000 guarantee). The final weekly wonder worth checking out is Super Sunday.

Rather than a single tournament, Super Sunday is a promotion that increases the guarantees for seven daily MTTs. Naturally, the prize pools are boosted on Sundays, with the total guarantee topping $1 million. Overlays are common, so it’s definitely the best day of the week to play.

QQPoker is a gateway to the Far East, giving you the chance to win cheap seats in Asia’s biggest live events, including Triton Poker tournaments. Triton satellites are available at all levels, including daily freerolls.

QQPK also runs leaderboards where the top-ranked players win tournament dollars. The weekly prize pool is $2,026, and the top three players each month share $18,600 worth of tournament dollars.

That makes the PC and Mac QQPoker app smaller than usual. Fortunately, you can increase the size and, despite maintaining its mobile layout, the app is easy to navigate. There are plenty of filters, including currency, stakes, and table limits.

You can also adjust table design, enable four-color decks, and set three or five preset bet amounts. Finally, for a bit of fun, you can turn on the squeeze button. This deals hole cards face down so you can peek at them like you would in a live game.

The only downside to QQPK’s online poker app is that you’re limited to two tables. This applies to all devices, which definitely limits your potential to grind cash games and earn loyalty points. On the plus side, it puts off the pros and helps keep the games soft.

Cash games have plenty of fish, as do MTTs, but that’s not why I recommend QQPK. For me, unique features like squeezing hole cards, Elite Passes, and freerolls to Triton live events make QQPK stand out.
