ACR Poker hosted the largest buy-in tournament in its history this week, with the $25,000 + $500 Phil’s Puff & Bluff no-limit hold’em event generating a $1,325,000 prize pool from 53 entries.
The tournament was won by ‘AlwaysWithNuts,’ who earned $371,000. Alex ‘OutFoxenYou’ Foxen finished second for $265,000, while ‘Iauspicious’ placed third for $212,000.
The event was part of the site’s new Highest Five schedule, a high-stakes extension of ACR Poker’s 4/20-friendly High Five tournament series. While the High Five features 10 tournaments per day and $4 million in total guarantees, the Highest Five adds two daily high-roller events with buy-ins ranging from $5,200 to $25,500, with Phil’s Puff & Bluff representing the largest offering.
Another event on the Highest Five slate, the $5,000 + $200 Blunt Special, drew 113 entries and generated a $565,000 prize pool. ‘ImWinninAnyway’ secured the title and $127,125 in first-place prize money.
The High Five series, along with the added high-roller schedule, ran through April 23, with 10 tournaments per day across a range of buy-ins, including a $200,000 guaranteed main event with a $420 buy-in.
The $10,000 six-max event drew 51 entrants as was won by none other than WSOP main event champ Chris Moneymaker. The ACR Poker ambassador pocketed $170,850 for the victory.

Dual Mystery Bounty Venom
ACR Poker is also running special High Five editions of its Dual Mystery Bounty Venom tournaments, headlined by an $8 million guaranteed no-limit hold’em event and a $2 million guaranteed pot-limit Omaha event. Day 1C of the no-limit hold’em tournament drew 779 entries, while the PLO event recorded 189 entries on its opening flight.
Three starting flights remain for players looking to enter the Venom field: Day 1D on April 23, a bonus flight on April 25, and the final Day 1E on April 26.
Players also have multiple ways to qualify for the Venom through the site’s Venom Fever promotion, which includes a wide range of satellite options with paths starting at $0. In addition to traditional satellites, players can take part in Survivor Flip steps, where they can flip their way into a $2,650 seat with buy-ins starting at $0.80, or try Spin to Get In, which offers chances to win entry via a virtual slot-style game with spins starting at $0.01.
In addition, the Venom Vault promotion gives players opportunities to unlock tournament tickets and, in some cases, a full Venom entry.
