ACR Poker is set to kick off a special High Five edition of its Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms this weekend.
The Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms feature $10 million in combined guarantees across two tournaments. Day 1A kicks off Sunday, April 12, with an $8 million guaranteed no-limit hold’em event and a $2 million guaranteed pot-limit Omaha event.
Both Venom tournaments come with a $2,650 buy-in and feature large mystery bounties. Once day 2 begins, every knockout is worth at least $5,000, with the potential to climb as high as $500,000 in the NLH event and $200,000 in the PLO.
The Venom Vault is back, giving every player a free shot at a guaranteed reward. Prizes include Venom Survivor Flip Step tickets ranging from $0.80 to $350 or the ultimate $2,650 Venom seat.
“What I love about Venom Fever and Venom Vault is how accessible it makes the Dual Venoms for everybody,” said ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. “Whether you’re grinding satellites or just logging in and opening the Vault, there’s always a path into the Venom. That’s huge for everyday players.”
The Schedule
The two tournaments run at the same time, and players will have multiple chances to build a stack before the money stage. The schedule includes five day 1 flights, allowing entries to carry over and combine for day 2, which begins Monday, April 27 at 1:05 p.m. ET.
All players who reach day 2 are already in the money, with the final tables set to play out on Tuesday, April 28 at 4:05 p.m. ET.
Qualify For Cheap
ACR Poker is once again offering players a range of ways to qualify for the Venoms at a lower cost through its Venom Fever satellites, including free options.
Satellites are already underway, with at least 687 seats guaranteed to be awarded across both events, representing more than $1.8 million in total value. Direct satellites start at $33 and will award 310 seats to the NLH event and 42 to the PLO field.
Mega satellites begin this Saturday, with buy-in paths starting at $0 and awarding 210 seats to the NLH tournament and 30 to the PLO. Weekly Beast satellites run Sundays at 5:05 p.m. ET through April 19, each guaranteeing between 20 and 30 seats into the $8 million NLH event, with players able to buy in for $95 or qualify for free through the weekly Beast leaderboard.
Other affordable options are also available, including Survivor Flip Step tournaments starting at $0.80 and qualification through the Spin to Get IN game, with spins starting at $0.01.
What To Expect
Venom events have a track record of blowing past their guarantees. The most recent editions of the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms drew large fields.
The NLH event attracted 3,673 entries and built a $9,182,500 prize pool, with the winner earning more than $700,000. Runner-up ‘BALDOUS’ secured the largest overall payday by hitting the top $500,000 bounty and finishing with $1,240,310 in total winnings.
The PLO event drew 837 entries and generated a $2,092,500 prize pool, with the champion earning more than $300,000.
With large fields, seven-figure prize pools, and six-figure bounties in play, the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms are among the biggest events on ACR Poker’s schedule this spring.
