ACR Poker has expanded its Sunday tournament schedule with the debut of two new weekly majors aimed at small- and mid-stakes players.
The popular poker site launched its Smash & Splash Sunday events in February, with the inaugural events drawing 8,202 combined entries across two tournaments.
With buy-ins of $22 and $11, and guarantees set at $75,000 and $50,000 respectively, the new additions are designed to offer strong prize pools at accessible price points while strengthening the site’s Sunday lineup.
Strong Turnout For Smash Event
The $75,000 GTD Smash attracted 3,957 entries and generated a $79,140 prize pool, surpassing its posted guarantee. The tournament paid 486 places and included 182 satellite qualifiers, highlighting strong early interest and a steady feeder system into the new major.
The Smash title went to “dougm83,” who entered once and earned $11,891 for the win.
Splash Event Adds Value With Overlay
The $50,000 GTD Splash drew 4,245 entries. The event paid 512 places, included 323 satellite qualifiers, and finished with a $7,550 overlay, providing additional value to the field.
“P0KERRAT” captured the title after a single $11 entry, collecting $7,623.
Across both events, participation included 505 total satellite qualifiers along with substantial re-entries.
Mega Satellites Provide Affordable Paths
Players looking for even lower-cost entries can take advantage of ACR Poker’s Sunday morning Mega Satellites.
A $1.10 buy-in 100-seat GTD Mega Satellite to the $11 Splash tournament runs at 9:30 a.m. ET. A $2.20 buy-in 100-seat GTD Mega Satellite to the $22 Smash tournament follows at 11:05 a.m. ET.
