ACR Poker is raising the stakes with the launch of Phil’s Thrill XXL. This special edition of the weekly Phil’s Thrill tournament will feature a record $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
Phil’s Thrill has become a staple on the ACR Poker schedule. The tournament offers a $10,300 buy-in and regularly attracts a strong mix of high-stakes regulars and recognizable names.
The tournament is named after ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy, who also frequently plays the weekly event and is expected to be in the field again for the supercharged edition.
Phil’s Thrill XXL takes place Sunday, March 1 at 2:30pm ET. With the biggest guarantee in the tournament’s history, the event is expected to draw a deep and competitive field.
Road To The Big One Satellite Promotion
While the buy-in remains set at $10,300, ACR Poker is giving players an affordable way in through a satellite. It’s called the Road to The Big One and it allows players to qualify for as little as $95.
The two-step format is designed to keep the process simple. Players begin in $95 Beast Satellites which run Sunday, Feb. 15 and 22 at 5:05 ET. Each Beast Satellite guarantees 50 tickets, awarding seats to a $1,050 Mega Satellite.
Mega Satellites will run Sunday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, March 1 at 11:05 ET. Players can enter for $1,050 or use their ticket earned through a Beast Satellite. Each Mega Satellite guarantees 20 $10,300 seats into Phil’s Thrill XXL.
