David Saab Wins Asian Poker Tour Stop in Manila

Takes Home $280,000 of the $1 Million-Guaranteed Prize Pool


Australian David Saab conquered more than 300 entrants at the debut event of the Asian Poker Tour in the Philippines.

At the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel in Makati City, the 35-year-old poker pro defeated Chris Roh of South Korea heads up to take home $280,000. Roh was awarded $150,000 of the $1 million-guaranteed prize pool for his runner-up finish.

The next stop on the APT is in Macau at the StarWorld Hotel and Casino Aug. 27-31. The buy-in is $5,300, and the event will boast a $1.5 million-guaranteed prize pool.
