The 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II is officially in the books, with $103.2 million in prize money awarded across the 14-event schedule thanks to 1,752 total entries. The average prize pool during the festival was nearly $7.4 million, thanks in large part to three tournaments that awarded eight figures in prize money. The largest of all was the $200,000 Triton Invitational, which drew 176 entries to build a $34,600,000 prize pool. Joao Simao was the victor in that nosebleed-stakes affair, earning over $7.2 million for the win.
The very last tournament on the agenda was a $30,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em turbo event. With just 23 entries in the fast-paced finale, the prize pool topped out at $690,000. Only the final five finishers earned a share, with the largest chunk going to eventual champion Wang Ye. The Chinese player secured $256,000 and his first trident trophy as the last player standing. This was his 20th Triton cash, with several huge scores including a handful of seven-figure paydays. Wang now has more than $13.7 million in career earnings, with over $11.8 million of that coming from his successes in Triton events.
Stacked Finale
Wang had plenty of tough competition to deal with down the stretch, with each of the four players who joined him in making the money already having multiple Triton titles under their belts. Benjamin Tollerene was the first to fall after the bubble burst, earning $65,000 for his fifth-place finish. The five-time Triton champion cashed six times during the series, including winning the $50,000 turbo bounty quattro event for $652,000 and his latest trident trophy.
Six-time Triton winner Punnat Punsri landed the knockout blow on Tollerene, but soon found himself on the chopping block. The Thai all-time money leader was sent packing by Wang, earning $81,000 for his third top-four finish of the festival.
Matthias Eibinger, one of just four players with more Triton wins than Punsri, was the next to hit the rail. His K♥10♥ was unable to come from behind against the A♣3♣ of Wang, and the Austrian settled for $112,000 as the third-place finisher. This was his fourth cash but first final-table showing of the series.
Wang took a better than 2:1 chip lead into heads-up play with four-time Triton winner Kiat Lee, who took down the $40,000 mystery bounty a week earlier. The last hand saw Lee make a straight with 8♠4♣ on a J♣10♠7♠9♦7♥ board. The chips went in, only for Wang to show down J♠7♣. His sevens full of jacks locked up the pot and the title, sending Lee home with $176,000.
POY Race Shakeup
Punnat Punsri
Wang secured 252 Card Player Player of the Year points as the champion. This was his second title and seventh final-table finish of the year. With 3,200 total points, he now sits just outside the top 50 in the 2026 POY standings presented by CoinPoker.
Everyone who was at this final table is a top POY contender at the moment. Punsri overtook the top spot in the standings with this, his 25th final table of the year. He’s won four titles and accumulated 7,624 points along the way.
Lee added 210 points with this runner-up finish, growing his haul to 4,741. That’s currently good for 21st place on the leaderboard. The Malaysian has two titles and 13 final-table appearances so far in 2026.
Eibinger climbed to 32nd thanks to this, his 11th final-table finish. The Austrian has won three titles across those performances. Meanwhile, Tollerene improved his rank to 40th, with two wins and 11 final tables.
