Bracelet winner Alex Anton topped an elite field of 70 entries in a $30,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em turbo event at the 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II for the second-largest score of his career. Despite the stiff competition and the high stakes, the speedy structure lessened the gravitas of the proceedings.
“It was really silly,” Anton told Triton staff after coming out on top. “It was fun, but we were just flipping for a lot of money.”
“It’s great, it’s amazing,” he continued.
Anton earned $577,000 as the last player standing, bringing his career haul to over $3 million. The 2026 World Series of Poker $10,000 mystery bounty champion’s only score larger than this came when he earned $678,300 with that win in Las Vegas this summer.
This latest triumph came with 588 Card Player Player of the Year points. This was Anton’s third title and seventh final-table finish of 2026. With 4,570 total points, the 25-year-old from Miami is now ranked 21st in the overall standings presented by CoinPoker.
Stacked Finale For The Fast-Paced Affair
Only the top 11 finishers earned a share of the $2,100,000 prize pool in this event. Ren Lin was the last to hit the rail empty-handed. The frustrating development came on the heels of him bubbling the $50,000 event earlier on the same day. Daniel Rezaei (11th) and Jesse Lonis (10th) soon followed, each earning $52,000 for their efforts.
Three-time Triton champion Stephen Chidwick held the lead at the start of the final table, with Anton in third chip position. With the eliminations of Mingcong Chen (9th – $60,000) and Winfred Yu (8th – $79,000), the final seven all locked up six-figure payouts in this event. The first of those was awarded to five-time Triton winner Mikita Badziakouski, who walked away with $101,000 after pocket fours were outraced by the A♦K♣ of Artur Martirosian. The Belarusian now has $72.8 million in earnings, placing him fourth on poker’s all-time money list.
Bracelet winner Byron Kaverman bowed out in sixth place ($128,000), with the losing hand being pocket fours once again. Martirosian won the flip again, this time with 10♣6♣.
Adrian Mateos, a three-time Triton champion and six-time bracelet winner, also fell to Martirosian. He got all-in with A♠J♥ leading Q♦9♥, but Martirosian spiked a pair of nines on the turn to win the pot and narrow the field to four. Mateos earned $164,000 to grow his lifetime total to nearly $70.6 million, the fifth-highest amount of any player in the game.
Chidwick, who is ranked second on the career earnings leaderboard with more than $80 million, added $207,000 to his tally with a fourth-place finish. Anton’s J♠4♣ held against 10♦6♣ for the last of Chidwick’s stack.
Closing Out The Win
Anton won a healthy pot with a set of aces to leave Triton champion Alisson Piekazewicz on fumes. The Brazilian then fell to Martirosian, with 7♣4♣ besting J♠10♣. He earned $269,000 for his third-place showing.
Heads-up play began with a 4:3 lead for Martirosian over Anton. The American overtook the lead, but lost an all-in with 8-4 suited against A-J to see the stacks all but leveled.
After a rollercoaster battle that saw the short stack win several all-ins, Anton finally closed out the title. His K♥6♠ held against 5♥3♥ to bring the action to a close. Martirosian earned $411,000 as the runner-up. The four-time Triton champion grew his career haul to $42.5 million with this performance.
