The Ladbrokes Poker Million, Europe’s longest-running televised poker tournament, today announced that series VII, to be aired every Tuesday from Sept. 9-Dec. 9, will feature a new format.
Ladbrokes will add four additional semifinal seats (making the semis an eighthanded affair this year). Two of these will be won online exclusively at Ladbrokes Poker while the show is being broadcast, while the other two additional seats will be up for grabs in two televised sixhanded turbo second chance tournaments by the runners-up in the 12 televised heats.
Qualification has already started on LadbrokesPoker.com from as little as $1, with Ladbrokes adding $500,000 in prize money. The first prize is $1 million.
The Ladbrokespoker.com Poker Million VII heats will be broadcast on Sky Sports 2. The semifinals and final will be broadcast live in December.
