ACR Poker hosted another pair of massive mystery bounty tournaments in August, with more than $10 million in prize money awarded in the popular Venom events.
The world’s two most popular poker tournament games, no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha, were both on display. The $8 million guaranteed NLH Venom attracted 3,392 entries at $2,650 a piece across the six starting flights, resulting in a prize pool of $8,480,000.
‘IamYorFather’ Triumphs In NLH
While thousands logged in to ACR Poker to participate, only one player could emerge as the champion. Southern California’s David ‘IamYorFather’ Gonzalez secured the final knockout for the title, earning $665,163 and $45,000 in bounty payouts. The 54-year-old defeated ‘ArkaduktusFrRM’ heads-up for the win.
“I’m still trying to process what just happened. Even days later, it all seems so surreal. I was especially thrilled to be able to overcome being the short stack at the final table,” Gonzalez shared. “The money was a blessing because I have quite a few family members in need, and this allows me to support them fully.”
The runner-up was one of the top bounty earners with $210,000. The $500,000 top bounty payout was drawn by ‘sorka1975’.

PLO Victory For ‘FutureTrunks’
Four-card poker fans also had their time in the spotlight. The $2 Million PLO Venom drew 830 entries, tying ACR Poker’s biggest Omaha tournament turnout. The prize pool swelled to $2,075,000 in the end, with ‘FutureTrunks’ closing out the win for $208,217, plus $146,250 in bounty payouts.
“It was awesome to see such a solid turnout and fun atmosphere in both Venom tourneys,” said 2003 World Series of Poker main event champion and ACR Poker team pro Chris Moneymaker. “Huge congrats to the winners and everyone who hit those incredible bounties.”
Hundreds of players earned their way into these marquee events via promotions like Venom Fever and Venom Vault. A user known as ‘xGetxRektx’ was a standout success story, with their $0.80 Venom Vault Key resulting in a $15,000 bounty payday and $6,500 in earnings from the main prize pool.
