The stakes have risen inside the PokerGO Studio. After a pair of $5,000 buy-in events to start the 2026 PGT PLO Series, the buy-in doubled to $10,000 for event no. 3 of the pot-limit Omaha festival. With 66 entries, the top 10 finishers split a $660,000 prize pool. After two days of four-card poker action, Roussos Koliakoudakis emerged victorious. The Greek player secured his first PGT title and $198,000 as the champion.
This was a new personal best for Koliakoudakis, topping the $139,773 he earned with a win in a $3,000 PLO bounty event at the 2023 Wynn Summer Classic. He now has nearly $1.1 million in career cashes to his name.
In addition to the money and the trophy, the Athens native locked up 360 Card Player Player of the Year points. This was his second POY-qualified final-table finish of 2026, having also placed fifth in a $1,000 PLO event at the World Series of Poker for $106,430 and 550 points. With 910 total points, he is now among the top 900 in the overall POY standings presented by CoinPoker.
Koliakoudakis Outlasts Big Names For Marquee Win
Plenty of stars ran deep in this event, including bracelet winner Richard Gryko (10th), Dutch PLO crusher Nino Pansier (8th), two-time bracelet winner John Riordan (7th), and Argentinian high roller Ariel Mantel (5th).
Day 1 action concluded with just four players remaining and Koliakoudakis in the lead. PLO specialist Sean Rafael fell first on day 2. Koliakoudakis landed the knockout blow to Rafael’s short stack to send him packing with $66,000.
Three-time World Poker Tour winner and 2019 European Poker Tour PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event champion Chino Rheem soon put his remaining chips at risk with A♦6♦4♥3♦ for two pair on a A♥8♣6♣ flop. Koliakoudakis held A♣10♣9♣3♥ for aces with flush and straight draws. The 8♥ turn and 10♠ river saw Koliakoudakis improve to aces and tens for the win, ending Rheem’s run in third place ($89,100). He now has over $20.2 million in lifetime earnings after this latest strong showing.
Koliakoudakis had nearly a 4:1 chip advantage over Brevin Andreadis when heads-up play began. The final clash pitted Koliakoudakis’ K♠K♦Q♣8♣ against Andreadis’ J♥10♦6♦5♦, with a flop and turn of 10♣7♦2♦9♣. The 9♠ on the end kept Koliakoudakis’ pocket kings best, bringing the tournament to a close.
Andreadis earned $128,700 as the runner-up. He has now cashed twice in the series, including a 13th-place finish in the kickoff event for $11,375.
