Plenty of big names were among the 209 players to earn a share of the $1,837,260 in this shorthanded PLO affair, including the likes of World Poker Tour champion and recent Millionaire Maker third-place finisher Joshua Reichard (24th), $25,000 no-limit hold’em high roller event runner-up Andrew Ostapchenko (9th), bracelet winner Jose ‘Nacho’ Barbero (8th), 2022 Wynn Millions champion Tony Sinishtaj (7th), and WPT champion Darryll Fish (6th).
Klezys knocked out Fish to narrow the field to five, then proceeded to eliminate each of his remaining four opponents on his way to claiming the title. He held nearly a 6:1 chip lead going into heads-up play with Jonathan Hanner.
In the final hand, Hanner got all-in preflop with A♦J♦10♦9♠ facing the A♥Q♥Q♠Q♣ of Klezys. The board came down 10♥4♥3♠6♠8♥ and Klezys made the nut flush to take the pot and the bracelet. Hanner earned $186,732 as the runner-up.
