Action is heating up at the 2025 Wynn Summer Classic. The massive festival, running May 21 – July 14 at Wynn Las Vegas, boasts more than $40,000,000 in guaranteed prize money, with several million of that being awarded in the past couple of weeks.
There are more than 90 events on the schedule, with the centerpiece being the ongoing $10,000,000 guaranteed $10,400 buy-in Summer Championship no-limit hold’em event that kicked off on June 26 and will play on until a winner is crowned on July 2.
2025 Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 No-Limit Hold’em $4 Million GTD

The largest guaranteed event to wrap up so far was the $4 million guaranteed $3,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament that ran from June 22-26. A total of 2,091 total entries were made by the time registration closed, resulting in a final prize pool of $6,638,925.
The top 262 finishers made the money, with six-figure payouts beginning at eighth place and more than $1 million up top. After three starting flights and two more days of combined-field action, it was Russian high-stakes star Artur Martirosian who emerged victorious with the title and first-place prize of $1,016,763.
This was the second title and ninth final-table finish of the year for Martirosian, who took down the $25,000 heads-up championship at the World Series of Poker earlier this summer for $500,000 and his third career gold bracelet. He now has nearly $31.4 million in career earnings. This triumph came with 1,620 Card Player Player of the Year points, bringing his total to 6,051. He now sits in second place in the 2025 POY standings with nearly $7.5 million in to-date POY earnings.
Martirosian had plenty of tough competition to deal with down the stretch, including Stephen Song (34th), Roman Hrabec (20th), Isaac Haxton (10th), and 2021 Wynn Millions champion Andrew Moreno (5th).

2025 Wynn Summer Classic $25,800 No-Limit Hold’em Eight Max

A total of 56 entries were made in the $25,800 buy-in eight-max high roller that ran from June 22-23, making for a $1.4 million prize pool. Current POY race leader Jesse Lonis emerged victorious, earning $410,242 for his sixth title of the year.
This was Lonis’ 14th final-table finish of 2025. With nearly $7.2 million in to-date POY earnings and 7,169 POY points, Lonis now sits 1,118 points ahead of Martirosian in the overall standings, which are presented by Coin Poker.
This score bumped Lonis’ lifetime earnings to nearly $21.9 million.
Joining Lonis in making the money were two players fresh off of big runner-up showings at the WSOP. Aram Oganyan, who finished second in the $100,000 high roller for $1,766,099, placed seventh in this event for another $65,800. Andrew Lichtenberger, who secured $1,312,610 for finishing second in the $50,000 high roller at the series, cashed for $87,500 as the sixth-place finisher in this event.
Clemen Deng (5th), Sam Laskowitz (4th), and 2024 WSOP $100,000 high roller champion Alex Kulev (3rd) also ran deep. In the end, Lonis squared off against bracelet winner and high-stakes online regular Alex Theologis for the title. The Greek player ultimately settled for $353,458 as the runner-up.

2025 Wynn Summer Classic $2,200 No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty $3 Million GTD
Earlier in the series, the $3 million guaranteed $2,200 no-limit hold’em mystery bounty event attracted 2,842 entries, surpassing the promised prize pool by more than $700,000.
Ruoxiao Shi came away with the title in the end, earning $584,157 as the champion. This was a new career-best score for the Canadian player, who earlier this year took down the ‘Colossus’ event at the WSOP International Circuit stop at Playground Poker Club.
Other notables who ran deep in this event included bracelet winners Frank Funaro (10th) and Julien Sitbon (7th), Javier Zarco (5th), and high-stakes tournament regular Kiat Lee (3rd). This was the fifth final-table finish of the year for Lee, who has won two titles so far in 2025, both in Triton Poker events. He now sits in 15th place in the POY standings after his deep run in this event.
