Steve Gross talks about his self-made rise in the online poker world on this week’s episode of The Scoop (sponsored by Full Tilt Poker) on Card Player TV.
Check out part one of his interview with Diego Cordovez on Card Player TV, and you can see if his selective-but-focused approach to online poker tournaments works for you. It has definitely worked for Gross. He believes that players who play in a high volume of tournaments only play their cards and lose track of the larger strategy in the game that takes place between players.
The 2010 Card Player Online Player of the Year discusses how he won the title last year, and he how he has managed to stay in contention for the OPOY title these last three years. Gross also touches on the positive lifestyle changes he has made since moving to Las Vegas last year, and the balance he is now able to find between life and poker.
