The flurry of corporate activity surrounding the imminent liberalisation of the French online poker market continued today with the announcement that Mangas Gaming, which recently purchased a majority share in Everest Poker, has signed a deal with M6 Metropole Television.
The four-year strategic partnership will see Everest Poker and Betclic services integrated into M6 websites while M6 will produce sports and poker content with sponsorship from the Mangas-owned companies.
Earlier this week French parliament passed a bill legalizing online poker and sportsbetting and a number of companies have already announced partnerships to avail of the market opportunities which will open up later this year.
Mangas Gaming is currently in dispute with Harrah’s over its sponsorship of Harrah’s World Series of Poker.
