The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour has made its second stop of the year at the Grosvenor Casino, Walsall with the
nine-day festival culminating in the £1,000 main event which started yesterday.
The festival got underway with a £100 no-limit hold’em event and more than 300 players are expected to take to the felt for the main event which last year was won by Jeff Kimber who took down £83,000.
Day 1a saw 111 players in the main event and by the the end of play only 26 had made it through. The top 10 in chips were:
