The$7,000 buy in PartyPoker.com European Open V takes place in London from Friday Feb. 6 to 13, 2009 with a wealth of top European talent taking to the felt including Neil Channing, Annette Obrestad, Roland de Wolfe, Surinder Sunar, James Akenhead, Padraig Parkinson, Julian Thew, and Michael Keiner.
The Matchroom Sports event will see 12 six seater heats and two six seater turbo heats for the runners up with the top three players from each heat moving on to the semi finals and the top three from the semis making the final which has a prize pool of $504,000 and a $200,000 payday for the winner.
The event will be filmed for broadcast on Channel Five in the UK and is to be distributed internationally.
