Full Tilt recently announced the schedule of events for its popular Full Tilt Online Poker Series, set to begin early next month.
February’s FTOPS, the eleventh of its kind, begins Feb. 4 with a $216 no-limit hold’em tournament and a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. There will be a wide variety of games offered in the 25 events that are scheduled over 12 days — including both limit and no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha and Omaha hi/lo, razz, stud, and H.O.R.S.E.
The series will culminate with its Feb. 15 main event, a $535 tournament with a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool. Players with the cash can also play in the FTOPS XI’s premiere two-day event, a $5,200 buy-in event with $2 million guaranteed that starts on Feb. 14.
The first FTOPS debuted Aug. 14, 2006 with eight events. The most recent series, FTOPS X, concluded in November. Va Shon Watkins, playing as “Julian Verse,” took down the FTOPS X main event for more than $450,000 — not bad for a guy who was thinking about quitting the game before the tournament.
