Boylepoker pro Marty Smyth Heads Market with Neil Channing and Andy Black


BoylePoker.com pro Marty Smyth is the 150/1 favourite along with Andy Black and Neil Channing for this weekend’s Marty Smyth favourite for the Boylepoker International Poker OpenBoylepoker International Poker Open 2008. The €135 + €15 buy-in event is being held in the Regency Airport Hotel from Oct. 17 to 19 and will host 1,200 players from across Europe. It will be the biggest field ever outside the U.S. and the prize pool currently stands at over €200,000.

Following the three market leaders Boylepoker’s other pro Padraig Parkinson who is quoted at 200/1 along with Surinder Sunar. There are a number of 250/1 shots including Scott Gray, “Mad” Marty Wilson, Ryan Fronda, Andy Ward, Jeff Duvall, Ian Frazer, Maria Demetriou, Jen Mason, and John O’Shea.

Former snooker world champion Ken Doherty is a 300/1 shot along with “the voice of poker” Jesse May, and the 400/1 outsiders include former Eastenders actor Ray Pathanki.Betting each way on players to make the final table of nine is 1/6 of the quoted odds.

The record breaking event will also see two workshops and Q&A by Andy Black (Friday at 2:30 p.m.) and Marty Smyth and Padraig Parkinson (Saturday at 2:30 p.m.).
