Season VII of the World Poker Tour got under way with the start of the Bellagio Cup IV, and today, the WPT announced a few updates.
Taking a page out of Bellagio’s book, the Bicycle Casino will also offer starting stacks with triple the buy-in in chips for each event in the Legends of Poker tournament series, meaning the $10,000 buy-in WPT main event will feature 30,000 in chips in the starting stacks. The tournament series runs Aug. 23-28.
The Borgata has also announced new dates for the Borgata Poker Open, which will take place Sept. 14-18. In addition, the main event is going to have a $5 million-guaranteed prize pool.
