Full Tilt Poker will hold the largest buy-in tournament in online history with its $25,000 World Head-Up Championship, which takes place at the end of the month.
The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET Saturday, May 24, and will be hosted by Team Full Tilt member Chris Ferguson. The tournament takes place a week after the world will watch Ferguson capture his first NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship title (the semifinals and final are being shown Sunday, May 18).
The tournament will be capped at 64 entrants, and many of those will be Full Tilt Poker pros like Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, and Jennifer Harman. Post-event commentary will be posted by Ferguson and poker announcer Ali Nejad.
Two $535 qualifiers will take place for this event on Thursday, May 22 at 3 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET Friday, May 23. Feeders will be offered for these satellites, so be sure to check the tournament schedule. Also, take advantage of a Full Tilt deposit bonus offered through CardPlayer.com.
