PokerStars, the online site that brought players the European Poker Tour and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour, is introducing the Latin American Poker Tour and providing $5,000 packages to the event in
The package includes the $2,700 tournament buy-in, four night’s hotel accommodation at $740 a night, and $1,560 for traveling and other expenses. As of now, there are three tournaments awarding at least one package. There is a $530 buy-in qualifier on April 26 at 6:45 p.m. ET, a 8,000 Frequent Player Point buy-in qualifier on April 27 at 5:15 p.m. ET, and a $215 buy-in qualifier on April 27 at 7:15 p.m. There are satellites into these tournaments for as low as $2.20. Also, step sit-and-go satellites are available and start at $7.50 or 500 FPP credits. These satellites can be found by going to the main lobby, clicking “Events,” and looking under the “LAPT” tab.
