The World Poker Tour and Grup Perlada are joining forces once again for a second event at Casino Barcelona, to take place May 21-27.
The first Spanish Championship debuted in season six last year with
considerable success. Markus Lehman beat 225 other entrants in the €7,500 buy-in tournament to win €537,000 ($762,540).
The upcoming event is expected to have more than 400 runners. Casino Barcelona will host supersatellites at 3 p.m. on May 21 and 22 that feature a €200 buy-in with unlimited rebuys and an add-on. The €5,000 main event will begin on May 24 and conclude on May 27 with the non-televised final table.
