A new report from Research and Markets suggests that Belgium is on the way to liberalizing its gambling legislations. The report, entitled “Belgian and Dutch Gambling Markets” says that if, as planned, the Belgian Government adopts new gambling legislation this year, foreign Internet gambling operators would also be allowed to offer their services in the country.
Belgium has long been relatively liberalized in betting and casino markets, and the report states that online gaming is next to be opened to foreign competition.
