The PokerStars European Poker Tour grand final will take place April 12-17 in Monte Carlo, and like all of the EPT events, PokerStars wants its players to be there.
On Saturday, Jan. 19, PokerStars will hold a $1,050 qualifier to the EPT’s championship, which has a buy-in of approximately $14,000 (€10,000). PokerStars guarantees that 16 prize packages will be awarded in this qualifier. Each prize package is worth about $19,250.
Supersatellites to this qualifier are now taking place at PokerStars, and they start for as little as $5.50 (plus rebuys). Click here to take advantage of a deposit bonus offered through CardPlayer.com.
Players can also qualify for the $1,050 qualifier by playing in tournaments with buy-ins of $8.88 (plus rebuys), $33 double shootouts (turbo), $22 (plus rebuys), and $109. Qualifiers run around the clock from now until the tournament starts at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Last year, Gavin Griffin won $2.4 million for winning the EPT grand final. Griffin qualified for the event through a $240 double shootout at PokerStars. In fact, four of the players who finished in the top six at last year’s event qualified through PokerStars. Last year’s event attracted 706 players.
