Poker players who own Mac computers have long been waiting for the day that they could use PokerStars, and that day has finally come.
Late last week, PokerStars released a Mac version of its software. There are a few minor features available on the regular version that the Mac PokerStars software in its current beta version does not support, including the layout manager and preferred seat features.
The following are the system requirements for the PokerStars Mac game client:

Minimum system configuration:
- PowerPC G4 or G5 or Intel Mac
- 512MB RAM
- 1024×768 screen resolution or higher
- 60MB free disk space
- 56k dial-up Internet connection
Recommended system configuration:
- PowerPC G4 1Ghz or faster, PowerPC G5 or Intel Mac
- 1024MB RAM
- 1024×768 screen resolution or higher
- 100MB free disk space
- 128kbps or faster DSL or cable Internet connection
