The International Poker Open 2007 takes place in the RDS, Shelbourne Hall, Ballsbridge, Dublin, tomorrow, Oct. 6. With 1,015 player already registered, it is set to be the largest-ever field playing poker at the same time in Europe. The previous record was 708 set by the 2007 Irish Open earlier this year.
The winner can expect to take home more than €30,000 from the two-day event, which has attracted players from all over Europe and even further afield.

Uniquely for a field this size, the buy-in is €150 (€125 + €25 registration fee). The event is exceptional in that it offers poker players a professional structure for an amateur fee.
