
After more than 11 hours of play, the title went to longtime poker pro Nick ‘shadowjacker’ Guagenti. The Ohio-native earned $305,433 and his first career bracelet.
Guagenti has had close calls at the WSOP in the past. In 2017, he made a deep run in the main event, earning $145,733 for finishing in 46th place. Last summer, he took fourth in the $10,000 Omaha eight-or-better event for $140,522, and he followed that up later in the series with a third-place showing in the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. event for another $259,533.
To earn the win, Guagenti had to overcome a final table that included notable such as Tom ‘.beast.’ Cannuli, Vinny ‘brownmagic’ Pahuja, Ryan ‘toosick’ Tosoc, and Ari ‘philivey’ Engel.
