Daniel Negreanu has a history of making some remarkable reads, many of which have been featured on televised poker shows and live streams. On Tuesday night at the Super High Roller Bowl V, the 44-year-old Poker Hall of Fame member added another moment to his highlight reel with PokerGo’s day 1 coverage.
An extra-animated Negreanu was competing at the featured table during level 4 of the high roller tournament, and managed to get into an unusual confrontation with rising tournament star Mikita Badziakouski with a disguised straight. Negreanu’s spidey senses must have been tingling, however, because he was able to find a fold on the river after the Belarusian pro made a full house.

Despite losing the hand, Negreanu limited the damage and was able to bag up the third biggest stack of the remaining 27 players. Badziakouski finished in the middle of the pack.
The final seven players will finish in the money, with the winner earning $3,672,000 on Wednesday evening. Day 2 of the tournament resumes Tuesday at noon.

Good lay down. Negreauno not known for making good laydowns. He's knows as being a calling station and when he is correct people give a results oriented compliment "good call" His game has improved and become more cerebral. But has regressed in this good laydown by discussing the hand out loud and how he thinks through this hand.
NEVER TELL A POKER PLAYER WHAT YOU ARE THINKING OR HOW YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR DECISIONS.
Discussing how you think or what you are thinking does not help you in any way. Then to tell players what he had was also not in his best interest. Great lay-down, bad telling players how you think and what you actually had.
