Full Tilt Online Poker Series IV Fast Approaching

FTOPS IV Offers $4 Million in Guaranteed Prize Pools and Live Streaming Internet Radio Coverage of Final Tables

For those who weren't satiated after the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) III this past February, Full Tilt is already ready to kick off the series' fourth iteration. And, of course, no continuation of a tournament series would be complete without upped guarantees – that's why this time Full Tilt is guaranteeing $4 million in prize money. (The FTOPS III had $3.4 million in guaranteed prize money.)

The first of 10 events in the FTOPS IV, a $300,000-guaranteed no-limit hold'em tournament, begins this Friday, May 11. The events will then be held at a one-a-day pace leading up to the $1.5 million-guaranteed main event on May 20. Every event in the series will count toward Online Player of the Year points.

Poker variants represented in the series include pot-limit Omaha (with rebuys), Omaha eight-or-better, H.O.S.E. (no H.O.R.S.E., this time; I guess people don't like razz well enough), and a wide assortment of hold'em.

As usual, each event's final table will be commentated on via a live streaming Internet radio broadcast to be hosted by Team Full Tilt pros such as Huck Seed, Gavin Smith, Layne Flack, and Gus Hansen.

Also per the usual, each event's winner will receive an exclusive gold FTOPS jersey avatar and the FTOPS leader board winner for the series will earn a customized avatar modeled after the player, just like the Team Full Tilt pros have.

Check back on CardPlayer.com for tournament results and brief recaps for each tournament, including comprehensive recaps for the two biggest events in the series, the $750,000-guaranteed no-limit tournament this Sunday and the main event.
