A total of 1,117 entries were made in the 2017 World Series of Poker Circuit Palm Beach Kennel Club $365 no-limit hold’em re-entry event. In the end, the last player standing was none other than Loni Harwood, who earned $61,156 and her third WSOP Circuit gold ring for the win.

Harwood, a two-time WSOP bracelet winner, also earned 384 Card Player Player of the Year points. This was her second POY-qualified final table finish of the year, having placed third in the $1,100 buy-in $1 million guaranteed no-limit hold’em tournament at the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open for $110,431 and 720 points. As a result of her win in this event, Harwood has climbed into 15th place in the overall POY race standings, which are brought to you in 2017 by Commerce Hotel & Casino.

Harwood came into the final day as the huge chip leader, with 7.7 million of the 11.2 million chips in play and four players remaining. It took less than an hour for Harwood to eliminate her three opponents and secure the title. On the final hand A.J. Kelsall moved all-in preflop with A-5 and Harwood called with pocket deuces. Kelsall failed to improve and Harwood secured the pot and the title.

The Staten Island, NY native took to Twitter to celebrate her win, saying:

Here is a look at the payouts and POY points awarded at this final table:

One might think it would be possible, especially after quoting one of her own tweets in the article, that the headline could spell Ms. Harwood's name correctly?
