Poker Stars Qualifier Leads at Aussie Millions

Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke Is the Current Chip Leader at the Aussie Millions With 14 Players Remaining

PokerStars may see another online-qualifying player win a major event if 19-year-old Jimmy Fricke continues his run at the Aussie Millions tournament in Melbourne, Australia.

Fricke, who goes by the screen name "Gobboboy" on PokerStars, is currently the chip leader at the event with 14 players remaining. As play ended for day three of the five-day tournament, Fricke sat with $2.6 million in chips.

Aside from his success so far at the Aussie Millions, Fricke has had excellent results while playing online. He won the UltimateBet $200,000-guaranteed tournament on Oct. 22, 2006, earning $45,000. He also made close to $30,000 this New Year's Eve with two final-table cashes on PokerStars.
