One of the biggest-value tournaments on ACR Poker’s summer schedule is already building a sizable field.
The $66 Mystery Bounty Multi-Flight has attracted 1,220 entries as of press time. More than 200 Day 1 flights remain before the surviving players return for Day 2 on Monday, August 17.
A Lot To Play For
At stake is a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million, along with the largest bounty available during the Run Up Series. One knockout will be worth $100,000 once the Mystery Bounty portion of the tournament begins.
That creates an unusual amount of upside for a tournament at this price point. Players who reach Day 2 will compete for their share of the seven-figure prize pool, while every elimination offers another chance to uncover the six-figure top bounty.
The multi-flight schedule leaves plenty of time to get involved. Day 1s will continue throughout the Run Up Series, giving players repeated opportunities to qualify for Day 2.
Run Up Series Details
The tournament is the multi-flight headliner of the five-week Run Up Series, which features more than $10 million in guarantees across 163 events and continues through Monday, August 17th.
Three Main Events are also scheduled for the final weekend of the Run Up Series. The lineup includes a $1,050 event with a $750,000 guarantee, a $215 event offering $400,000 guaranteed, and a $33 event with $200,000 on the line. Day 1 takes place on Sunday, August 16, followed by Day 2 on Monday, August 17.
There is also a separate leaderboard race taking place throughout the series. ACR Poker is fully funding its largest-ever leaderboard competition, with $100,000 in prizes split between High and Low divisions.
The top 25 finishers in each division will earn prizes, including cash, tournament tickets, and Venom seats. Results from Run Up Series tournaments count toward the standings.
Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms
Among the leaderboard payouts are seats to ACR Poker’s upcoming Venoms. Beginning August 13th, the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms will offer $15 million in combined guarantees.
That $15 million figure is the largest total in Venom history. The schedule features a $12 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event and a $3 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event. Both Mystery Bounty events have $2,650 buy-ins and eight Day 1 flights.
Every player who reaches Day 2 will already be in the money when the bounty hunt begins. The NLH Venom has a $500,000 top bounty, while the largest bounty in the PLO event is worth $250,000. The minimum bounty in both tournaments is $5,000.
Satellite Options
Players looking to qualify for less than the full buy-in can do so through Venom Fever, with satellite routes and qualification opportunities starting from $0.
Another major event on ACR Poker’s 25th anniversary schedule is also underway. The $2.5 Million Guaranteed Anniversary Tournament has a $250 buy-in and 21 Day 1 flights. It uses a cumulative stack format, meaning players who advance through more than one flight will have all their qualifying stacks combined for Day 2.
For now, the $66 Mystery Bounty remains one of the most accessible seven-figure events on the schedule. With 1,220 entries already recorded, more than 200 flights remaining, and a $100,000 bounty still waiting to be found, much of the tournament’s story has yet to be written.
