CoinPoker completed its World Poker Masters tournament series at the start of the month, awarding more than $48 million throughout the multi-week series spanning 781 events.
Those numbers crushed the original $25 million guarantee thanks to 578,251 entries, with players completing over 43 million hands.
Following the massive turnout, the crypto-centric online poker room increased the guarantees of its weekly tournament schedules by $2 million.

Trophies Galore At World Poker Masters
Along with the prize money, the site distributed 59 physical and digital trophies to event winners.
The most prestigious of those trophies came from the $2.5 million guaranteed main event. The tournament attracted more than 5,000 entries through multiple opening flights and satellites, generating a final prize pool of $2.73 million. ‘dsfgdsgdsgd’ won the tournament for $300,270 and ‘m3rryf3llow’ finished second for $225,290. ‘Bucko94’ took third for $171,420.
In its little brother, the $500,000 guaranteed Mini Main Event, 3,772 entries created an $846,790 prize pool. ‘FlushPuppy’ won the title and $60,560. Runner-up ‘dragonslayer17’ collected $63,540 after negotiating a deal during heads-up play. ‘mexicali23337’ finished third for $41,570.
The $25,500 Super High Roller on May 25 attracted 72 entries for a $1.8 million prize pool. ‘amr1diab’ took it down, winning $544,320 in the process, the largest payout of the series. ‘Lukabrate’ followed in second for $354,960.
Earlier in the schedule, the $215 CoinMillion event saw 4,278 entries compete for a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. ‘DaniC1994’ secured the victory and $126,500.
After the event, CoinPoker said it plans to make the event a quarterly fixture on the tournament schedule.
Throughout the festival, players won 16,038 satellite tickets valued at $2,984,875.
Final Table Flights
Of all the stories to come from the series, CoinPoker ambassador Bobby James might have the most interesting. The Brit final tabled the $25,000 no-limit hold’em event on a commercial flight to Las Vegas.
His airline of choice must have pretty reliable wifi.

Decorted online tournament veteran Benjamin ‘Bencb’ Rolle noted the total prize pool nearly doubled the initial series guarantee.
