PokerGO’s No Gamble No Future live stream was the site of an improbable pair of wins with pocket aces this week after two players both flopped flushes.
The action featured blinds of $25-$50 with a $50 big blind and began with Shaun Deeb calling with Q♣J♣. Jimmy D’Ambrosio picked up A♥A♣ and raised to $375. That brought a call from Randy “3Coin” Sadler on the button with K♣7♣ and Deeb also came along, bringing the pot to $1,250.
At this point, D’Ambrosio was a 72.7% favorite to win the hand, according to the Card Player Poker Odds Calculator. Deeb checked in at 13.9% and Sadler stood at 13%.
A Flop Full Of Clubs
The flop brought 9♣4♣3♣ and Deeb checked his queen-high flush. D’Ambrosio fired $475 with his pocket aces and nut flush draw. Sadler sat in the driver’s seat and simply called.
Deeb check-raised to $1,500 and D’Ambrosio thought a bit before calling. Sadler then moved all in for the last of his $5,800. That brought an immediate call from Deeb and D’Ambrosio stood up and began considering his options.
“Obviously you flopped a flush,” he said as Sadler moved away from the table. He added: “I’m definitely not betting, but I could just be way behind.”
Sadler returned to the table and began dancing a bit. D’Ambrosio eventually moved all in for $11,250 and Deeb called. The pot now stood at $18,650 with a side pot between Deeb and D’Ambrosio of $10,900.
Sadler flipped a coin on whether to run the turn and river once or twice, which ended up being the latter, and the three players agreed.
The first turn brought the 7♥ followed by the 5♣ to hand D’Ambrosio the first half of the pot.
With four clubs still remaining in the deck, the second turn produced the A♦ and the river brought the 3♠, to hand D’Ambrosio the entire pot with a full house.
“I lost once, I lost twice,” Sadler noted of the tough runouts. Watch the complete hand below:
